AwaNama can boast more than five years of professional experience in radio programming and content development for the intricately complicated multi-cultural, and therefore challenging, Afghan media market. We are running the only truly public service radio outlet in the country; our immensely popular radio program slots ‘Good Morning Afghanistan' and ‘Good Evening Afghanistan' are transmitted countrywide over the national network of Radio Afghanistan. During the past year, AwaNama has been developing program content for Peace Radio which is broadcast over local FM stations located in Afghanistan's 34 provinces. A short-wave service caters for the countrywide distribution.

AwaNama continues to boost the origination of multi-purpose TV products in different formats. These cover feature reports, documentaries, commercials, PSAs, and advertisements for Afghan and foreign clients wanting to reach the Afghan audience, be it content on their commercial, developmental or peace-keeping activities. These products are broadcast regularly on all available TV channels in Afghanistan.

Cooperation with the public service broadcaster RTA is an exceptional privilege allowing AwaNama's creative skills to be realized and shown to the Afghan public. The basis of all co-productions AwaNama engages in means provision of the creative brains, skilled staff and the necessary management. RTA brings about high-technology equipment, multipurpose studio facilities and an extensive archive. A vital part of AwaNama's cooperation with the Afghan public broadcaster is our provision of on-the-job training for the staff at RTA. Another service of us offered to RTA, the Afghan national broadcaster, is that of regular consultancies and practical help in the field of project implementation.

AwaNama's video products are played on various TV stations countrywide.

Samples of TV shows (commercials, documentaries, PSAs, interviews, live shows) are available on request.
